Key Information: Only states, DC, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands are eligible; cost sharing is not required.
This funding opportunity provides administrative support to state workforce agencies (SWAs) for the ongoing costs associated with the administration of the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program, originally created under the CARES Act. Although FPUC and related pandemic unemployment programs have expired, states continue to incur costs related to fraud prevention, overpayment recovery, data retention, reporting, and audit/oversight activities. This grant enables SWAs to complete these residual administrative tasks to ensure proper closure and integrity of the pandemic unemployment programs.
