Description
This opportunity funds the creation of a Network Plus to drive UK-wide collaboration and strategic vision for future computing paradigms, supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) under UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The award will establish a multidisciplinary network to map, benchmark, and provide horizon scanning for emerging computing technologies, followed by a sustained phase of community engagement and strategic roadmap development. The focus is on uniting expertise across academia, industry, government, and policy to address fragmented activities, inform national research priorities, and ensure that new computing paradigms are developed with consideration of societal, economic, and ethical impacts.
