Description
This opportunity provides funding for state, county, and local governments to enhance emergency response preparedness for pipeline incidents involving gas or hazardous liquids. The focus is on training individuals with statutory responsibility—such as firefighters, EMTs, and emergency managers—to respond effectively to pipeline emergencies in high-consequence areas (HCAs), thereby protecting people, property, and the environment. Eligible activities include pipeline emergency response planning, training, exercises, curriculum development, and acquisition of specialized equipment or supplies for pipeline response.
