--- ## Description This opportunity, administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Office, funds 5-year cooperative agreements to support coordinated regional efforts that enhance the nation’s understanding and management of coastal ocean and Great Lakes environments. The program’s mission is to produce, integrate, and communicate high-quality ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes data to meet the safety, economic, and stewardship needs of the nation. Awardees will operate and enhance Regional Coastal Observing Systems (RCOS) within one of 11 defined IOOS regions. Funded activities must integrate observations, data management, modeling, and stakeholder engagement to deliver actionable, stakeholder-driven information products and services.
