Description
This opportunity supports the Federal Justice Statistics Program (FJSP), which serves as the national clearinghouse for federal criminal case data in the United States. The program is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating federal justice statistics, as well as providing technical assistance to federal agencies to improve the quality and availability of justice data. Activities include receiving data from six federal agencies, converting it to a standardized format, ensuring data quality and confidentiality, maintaining dyad link files, updating the BJS online query tool, and preparing public-use data files and codebooks for research.
