This opportunity funds organizations and agencies with expertise in Tribal communities to develop, design, and implement innovative nutrition education projects for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). The goal is to provide culturally appropriate nutrition education activities and programming that promote the use of USDA Foods and support healthy choices, outcomes, and families among FDPIR participants. Projects must align with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025–2030, and supplement (not duplicate) existing FDPIR nutrition education offerings. Deliverables include the development of new resources, training materials, and evaluation reports to support nutrition education for all Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs) and State agencies administering FDPIR.
