Description
This grant provides funding for state, county, and local governments to train emergency responders with statutory responsibility for pipeline incidents involving gas or hazardous liquids, especially in high consequence areas (HCAs). The goal is to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities to protect people, property, and the environment from pipeline accidents. Eligible activities include pipeline emergency response planning, training, exercises, curriculum development, and acquisition of training-specific equipment and supplies.
