    Description

This opportunity from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) funds a cooperative agreement to develop and implement a program convening cultural ministers (or equivalents) from key countries at an iconic U.S. location. The event will focus on cultural heritage and property protection, showcasing U.S. innovation and technology, strengthening cooperation against art and antiquities trafficking, and amplifying global narratives on America’s foundational values. The convening is part of the State Department’s programming for America’s 250th birthday (“Freedom 250”).

The recipient will collaborate closely with ECA to design a one- to two-day agenda, organize pre-event virtual sessions, coordinate logistics, and facilitate follow-on cooperation. The program aims to strengthen international relationships, promote U.S. models and standards in cultural heritage, and produce actionable steps for future collaboration.
