Summary: Supports a cooperative agreement to administer the Humphrey Fellowship, bringing mid-career professionals from priority countries to the U.S. for academic and professional exchange.
This opportunity funds the management of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, a flagship Fulbright exchange run by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), U.S. Department of State. The program brings influential mid-career professionals from over 100 eligible countries to the United States for graduate-level academic study and professional development. Fellows are placed in thematic cohorts at U.S. host universities and participate in both academic coursework (non-degree) and professional affiliations with U.S.-based organizations. The program aims to foster mutual understanding, build global networks, and advance U.S. foreign policy interests by equipping participants with practical skills and insights.
The awardee will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the Humphrey Fellowship, including recruitment, placement, alumni engagement, program evaluation, and coordination with ECA. The program consists of a longer-term academic year fellowship and a shorter-term Distinguished Humphrey Fellowship Program (DHFP).
