Description
This grant supports the advancement and deployment of intelligent transportation system (ITS) technologies for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operations. The program aims to enhance state and federal data integration, improve safety and productivity for CMVs and commercial drivers, and reduce regulatory and operational costs through innovative technological solutions. Funded activities may include system upgrades, real-time data sharing, electronic credentialing, electronic screening, truck parking information systems, and other projects that align with national priorities for CMV safety and efficiency.
