Description
This continuation grant, offered by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), is designed to support the 14 district teams previously funded under the FY26 FC0612 grant. Its goal is to help these teams implement or further develop their plans to provide Individualized Education Program (IEP) services for preschoolers in community-based settings, such as Head Start, licensed child care, and family child care programs. The grant funds activities like professional development, coaching, partnership development, hiring itinerant team staff, IEP service delivery in inclusive environments, engagement with families, and sustainability planning. Awardees will participate in both in-person and virtual professional development and networking opportunities, aiming to strengthen local partnerships and enhance the quality of special education services for preschoolers.
