This competitive grant, administered by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Office for College, Career and Technical Education, provides funding to support the implementation of designated Innovation Career Pathways (ICPs) in Massachusetts. The grant aims to help districts and schools with ICP designation execute their approved plans, fully meet all pathway criteria, and align with DESE’s five guiding principles for Innovation Career Pathways. Priority is given to districts and schools in the strategic transformation region.
Eligible expenditures include program administration, curricular development, faculty stipends, partnership engagement, work-based learning, professional development, instructional materials, college and career advising, industry-recognized credentials, dual enrollment expenses, and student transportation. All activities and spending must align with the stated purpose and priorities, and funds must be used within the approved project duration.
