This opportunity funds the implementation of MassSTEP Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) models that deliver integrated education, workforce preparation, and occupational skills training for adults in Massachusetts. The goal is to accelerate student achievement of high school credentials, industry-recognized credentials, and entry into living-wage employment in priority sectors. Programs must be evidence-based, sustainable, and delivered through partnerships among education providers, approved workforce training entities, employers, and workforce partners. All programs must align with state labor market priorities and adhere to MassSTEP brand and policy standards.
