This forecasted opportunity provides funding to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations in the United States and its territories. Grants support the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services. Each competition cycle, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announces available service areas for funding; additional areas may be added during the year if an existing health center cannot continue service. This initiative is part of HRSA’s Health Center Program, aiming to strengthen the health care safety net and ensure access for vulnerable populations.
