Description
This opportunity provides funding exclusively to the six Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) Centers that have received official invitation letters from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). The RISS Centers play a critical role in supporting federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial criminal justice agencies by enabling secure information sharing and intelligence collaboration across jurisdictional boundaries. The program advances the Department of Justice’s mission to uphold the rule of law, enhance public safety, protect civil rights, and address complex challenges such as violent crime, human trafficking, and the opioid crisis.
