This funding opportunity supports the provision of forensics training and technical assistance (FTTA) to state and local agencies through nine forensic science grant programs. The goal is to enhance the capacity and outcomes of these agencies, improve the quality and practice of forensic science, and promote innovative solutions in technology, information exchange, and training/best practices for the criminal justice sector. The program is administered through a cooperative agreement and is available only to the specifically invited organization.
