--- ## Description This program aims to address persistent and growing capacity challenges within the Medical Examiner/Coroner (ME/C) system, particularly those resulting from industry-imposed limits on the number of autopsies certified pathologists may perform annually. These challenges have been exacerbated by increases in opioid-related deaths and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
