This opportunity provides funding to State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) or agencies designated by governors as Cooperating State Agencies (CSAs) to support the winddown and phaseout of the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program. The funds are intended for training, employment and case management services, job search and relocation allowances, and related state administration for workers adversely affected by foreign trade. Due to the TAA program’s phaseout and significantly reduced appropriations, funding is distributed based on demonstrated need rather than by formula.
