Supports technical assistance to increase women’s participation and retention in apprenticeable and nontraditional occupations through training, resources, and supportive services.

--- ## Description This grant program provides funding to nonprofit community-based organizations (CBOs) to deliver technical assistance aimed at increasing the employment and retention of women in apprenticeable and nontraditional occupations (A/NTO). The program supports: - Development, expansion, or enhancement of pre-apprenticeship, youth apprenticeship, Registered Apprenticeship, or other nontraditional skills training programs for women. - Ongoing orientations or resources for employers, unions, and workers to foster supportive environments for women in A/NTO. - Establishment of support groups, networks, or provision of supportive services to improve retention of women in these fields. The overarching goal is to facilitate women’s full and effective participation in traditionally male-dominated career pathways by supporting employers, unions, and workers with evidence-based technical assistance. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: August 8, 2025 (11:59 pm Eastern Time) --- ## Funding Amount - Total program funding: $5,000,000 (estimated) - Expected number of awards: ~14 - Award range: $350,000 (minimum) to $750,000 (maximum) per award - No cost sharing or matching required --- ## Eligibility - Eligible applicants: - Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education) - Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education) - Additional requirement: Only community-based organizations (CBOs), as defined in Appendix B of the FOA, are eligible. - Consortium applications: A consortium of CBOs may apply as a single applicant, but must provide a consortium agreement specifying the lead administrative entity. - See Section III of the Funding Opportunity Announcement for full eligibility details. --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted electronically via [Grants.gov](https://www.grants.gov/search-results-detail/357685) by the deadline. - Applicants must follow all instructions in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA-WB-25-01), including required attachments and forms. - Past performance documentation is required for applicants in Category 1 (those who have received at least three similar grants or cooperative agreements).
