Description
The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP) provides supplemental funding to support victims of mass criminal violence or domestic terrorism. AEAP grants are intended for jurisdictions or entities unable to provide timely and comprehensive victim services for a specific incident due to the event's size, unpredictability, or unique nature. Funding may be used for crisis response, consequence management, criminal justice support, and victim compensation, and can be combined in a single application. The program is not designed for incidents that can be managed with existing Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) resources.
