Description
This opportunity funds cooperative agreements for projects that advance the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wildlife Program’s mission, including the Sage-Grouse Conservation Program. The program aims to protect, maintain, and restore wildlife habitats; support wildlife reintroduction and propagation; conduct field studies; provide education; investigate wildlife toxicity/mortality; manage wildlife damage; and implement management activities affecting wildlife and their habitats on BLM-managed lands. Projects are expected to align with federal and state priorities, support science-based management, and may address issues such as habitat connectivity, migration corridors, and the impacts of drought or invasive species. Collaboration with state, tribal, and other partners is encouraged.
