Description
This funding opportunity from the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office), U.S. Department of Justice, aims to advance the practice of community policing nationwide. The program supports the development of products and resources that provide guidance on promising practices, test innovative strategies, build knowledge about effective policing, and promote safe communities and positive policing images. Funding is available under two main categories:
- Law Enforcement Products and Resources: For developing resources on law enforcement topics, designed for national distribution, that advance crime fighting and community policing through practical, creative strategies.
- COPS Training Portal: For deploying the COPS Office’s flagship eLearning platform, enhancing access to high-quality training for law enforcement and stakeholders.
All proposed projects must directly support the advancement of community policing through practical, evidence-based strategies.
