Description
This opportunity funds the National Dam Safety Program (NDSP) State Assistance Program, a federal initiative managed by FEMA to promote the establishment and maintenance of effective state dam safety programs. The goal is to reduce the risk to human life, property, and the environment from dam-related hazards by supporting state efforts in inspection, assessment, emergency planning, enforcement, public awareness, and program advancement. Funding is provided to eligible states and territories to enhance dam safety, risk management, and public outreach activities.
