--- ## Description This grant supports the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI) in advancing oral health advocacy at both federal and state levels. The funding aims to improve oral health coverage in Medicare, protect and expand oral health benefits in Colorado’s Medicaid and commercial insurance systems, and advocate for the inclusion of adult dental coverage in the state's essential health benefits benchmark. The grant also enables CCHI to strengthen the state’s oral health coalition, ensuring community voices—particularly from BIPOC and underserved groups—are prioritized in coalition activities, outreach, and decision-making.
