--- ## Description This EU prize aims to stimulate and reward game-changing innovations that can transform access to space and strengthen the European space industry's competitiveness. The initiative targets low-maturity, disruptive ideas—ranging from new concepts and technologies to digital solutions—across the entire access-to-space supply chain, excluding complete launch solutions. The goal is to drive innovation, foster new collaborations, attract dynamic entrants, mobilize private investment, and develop novel solutions, ultimately building a more agile and resilient European space ecosystem. --- ## Due Dates - **June 1, 2025:** Deadline to register interest (via GAME-CHANGING-LAUNCH-INNOVATIONS@ec.europa.eu) - **October 7, 2025:** Final deadline for electronic submission of full applications via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal (by 17:00 CET, Brussels) --- ## Funding Amount - **Total prize budget:** €5,000,000 - **Individual prize:** €950,000 awarded to each of the five top-ranked winners The remaining budget is reserved for prize administration and expert evaluation. --- ## Eligibility - **Applicant type:** Legal entities (natural persons, public or private bodies) established in an EU Member State. - **Geographic location:** Activities must be carried out within EU Member States; decision-making, research, development, manufacturing, and operations must be centered in the EU. - **Excluded applicants:** Entities subject to EU restrictive measures, or established outside the EU, are ineligible. - **Legal status:** Entities without legal personality may exceptionally participate if their representatives can undertake legal obligations and provide equivalent financial guarantees. - **Ethics:** All activities must comply with EU, national, and international laws and ethical standards, including fundamental EU values.
