Description
This opportunity provides funding to private and public non-profit institutions of higher education to implement comprehensive public health and evidence-based approaches aimed at enhancing behavioral health services for college students. The program focuses on preventing and reducing suicide, depression, serious mental illness (SMI), serious emotional disturbances (SED), and substance use disorders that may lead to academic failure. Additional goals include promoting help-seeking behavior, reducing stigma, and improving the identification and treatment of at-risk students to support their academic success.
