--- ## Description The Geobiology and Low-Temperature Geochemistry (GG) program funds research that advances understanding of geochemical processes in terrestrial Earth surface systems and the interactions between geochemical and biological processes. This highly interdisciplinary program supports studies at all spatial and temporal scales, including field, laboratory, theoretical, and modeling approaches. Research areas include, but are not limited to, biogeochemical cycles, geomicrobiology, geochemical proxies, analytical technique development, mineralogy, and the geochemistry of critical Earth materials.
