--- ## Description The program supports fundamental research in the physics of the solid Earth, with emphasis on understanding its composition, structure, and dynamic processes from the surface to the core. Areas of interest include geodesy, geodynamics, geomagnetism, heat flow, mineral physics, potential fields, seismology, rock mechanics, and deformation. The program encourages a broad spectrum of laboratory, field, theoretical, and computational studies, as well as innovative methods and interdisciplinary approaches.
