Description
The Georgia Outdoor Learning Demonstration (GOLD) Grant, administered by the Georgia Department of Education in partnership with the Environmental Education Alliance, is designed to increase the frequency, quality, and equitable access to outdoor learning experiences for Georgia’s PK-12 public school students. The grant funds projects that launch, revitalize, or expand outdoor learning, including outdoor classrooms, field-based education, and structured outdoor activities. Eligible projects may involve professional learning for educators, improvements to schoolyard learning spaces, student equipment and supplies, or field trips related to nature and environmental investigations.
