The Getty Global Art & Sustainability Fellows program is an international initiative designed to cultivate a new generation of leaders working at the intersection of arts, science, and sustainability. Over six years, the program places early-career professionals at 17 partner organizations across six continents, where they engage in interdisciplinary projects focused on sustainable management of heritage resources, scientific solutions to climate threats, and interpretive projects that raise awareness about climate resilience. Fellows are supported in developing innovative approaches to the preservation, interpretation, and stewardship of cultural heritage in the context of global environmental challenges. The program fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and dissemination of research through publications and presentations, aiming to reshape sustainability practices in the cultural sector.
