The Mayo Clinic Glaucoma Fellowship in Rochester, Minnesota is a one-year, AUPO FCC-accredited program that offers comprehensive clinical and surgical training in all aspects of glaucoma management. Fellows gain hands-on experience with a full spectrum of medical, laser, and surgical therapies—including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, tube shunts, and complex cataract procedures for glaucoma patients. The program emphasizes exposure to challenging cases, including pediatric, secondary, uveitic, steroid-induced, and neovascular glaucoma. In addition to clinical training, fellows participate in innovative research projects (clinical trials, outcomes, epidemiology, and diagnostics) and are mentored by leading faculty in the field.
