Summary: Supports MIT full-time faculty in presenting creative work at major global venues by invitation, fostering international visibility and cross-disciplinary impact.
The Global Exhibition and Performance Fund is designed to help MIT full-time faculty present their creative work—including performances, exhibitions, installations, or projects—at major global venues by invitation. Administered by the MIT Center for Art, Science & Technology (CAST), the fund aims to enhance the international visibility and impact of MIT faculty art and creative endeavors. CAST encourages proposals that are cross-disciplinary, advance racial and social justice, or amplify BIPOC artists' voices. Projects that are exploratory or challenging to fund through traditional sources, but have the potential to lead to innovative collaborations and creative outcomes, are especially encouraged.
