This program funds international and interdisciplinary research collaborations aimed at addressing major global challenges at the intersection of non-communicable diseases (especially cardiometabolic diseases), infectious diseases, climate change, and enabling technologies (including AI and digital tools). The goal is to catalyze science-based solutions by supporting projects that synergistically combine perspectives, theories, data, and experimental approaches across at least two of these domains, resulting in novel insights and transformative outcomes for global health and sustainability.
