--- ## Description The Globe-Trotters Member Chapter Systems Group Scholarship is a one-year, $5,000 award offered annually by the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) through its Globe-Trotters Member Chapter. The scholarship aims to reward and encourage talented students interested in the iron and steel industry by providing financial support for their studies. In addition to this specific scholarship, the Globe-Trotters chapter distributes up to $25,000 in total scholarship funds each year to qualified applicants. --- ## Due Dates - April 30, 2026: Application deadline (annual) — submit the application and required documents by this date. --- ## Funding Amount - $5,000 for one year (one award annually for the Systems Group Scholarship) - The Globe-Trotters Member Chapter may award up to $25,000 in scholarship funds each year across multiple scholarships. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be either: - The child or grandchild of an active Globe-Trotters chapter member in good standing, **or** - A current student member of AIST through the Material Advantage Student Program. - Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
