Description
The California Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) offers substantial research and implementation grants to support evidence-based initiatives that address community gun violence and improve correctional policies and practices across California. This funding is intended to empower cities, counties, tribal governments, and community-based organizations (CBOs) to develop, expand, or replicate innovative violence intervention strategies that serve populations at high risk of perpetrating or being victimized by community gun violence. Projects should generate actionable insights and recommendations for public safety professionals and policymakers, with a focus on measurable impact and community engagement.
