The Government Performance Lab Fellowships at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Taubman Center for State and Local Government offer hands-on opportunities for professionals to collaborate with state and local governments. Fellows are engaged in designing and implementing solutions to pressing social challenges, developing more effective and equitable service systems, and capturing insights from real-world projects. The program features two tracks: Government Innovation Fellows, who work directly with government partners on projects in areas such as child and family well-being, criminal justice, homelessness, housing, and procurement; and Research & Writing Fellows, who focus on developing publications and resources to share learnings from the Lab’s work with a national audience.
