The Pain Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona campus offers a comprehensive, one-year clinical training program in acute, chronic, and oncologic pain management. Fellows gain hands-on experience in a wide range of advanced pain management techniques, including medical management, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point and epidural injections, radiofrequency lesioning, continuous epidural infusions, intrathecal drug delivery systems, and spinal cord stimulation. The curriculum also includes required rotations in psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and neurology, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach. Graduates are eligible to sit for the American Board of Anesthesiology Pain Medicine Certification examination.
