The American Chemical Society (ACS) Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program honors graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the chemical sciences who have demonstrated exemplary achievements in one of five key areas: leadership in mentoring, leadership in inclusion and belonging, leadership in research safety, leadership in science outreach and engagement, and leadership in science advocacy. Selected by their academic departments, nominees are formally acknowledged for their impactful contributions, with recognition designed to highlight their leadership and service within the chemical sciences community. Recipients receive a certificate and are featured on the ACS website, providing formal acknowledgment from both their institutions and ACS.
