The Louisville Institute Grant for Researchers (GFR) provides substantial support for academic and scholarly research focused on North American Christianity, including faith and life, ministry practice, religious trends, faith-based institutions, and religion’s intersection with social issues. The program is designed to foster projects that connect scholarship with the lived realities of the church in North America. Funding is flexible and may be used for sabbatical or research leave, project costs, research resources, or a combination. Applicants may apply individually or as teams of up to three scholars.
