The Louisville Institute Grant for Researchers (GFR) is designed to support academic and scholarly research that advances understanding of North American Christianity, ministry practice, religious trends, faith-based institutions, and religion’s intersection with social issues. The program encourages projects that connect scholarship with the lived experience of the church in North America. Grants may fund sabbaticals, research leave, or project-specific costs, and are open to both individual scholars and small teams (up to three members). The GFR merges previous Louisville Institute project and sabbatical grants into a single, flexible program that responds to evolving academic and ecclesial needs.
