Description
The H2Ohio Wetland Grant Program, administered by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), funds high-quality natural infrastructure projects focused on nutrient reduction and water quality improvement, with a current emphasis on Northwest Ohio, particularly the Western Lake Erie Basin. The program aims to advance wetland creation, hydrologic restoration, floodplain and riparian enhancements, and other ecological restoration efforts that deliver significant environmental benefits. Projects are selected based on their potential for nutrient reduction, hydrologic connectivity, and overall water quality impact.
