The HBCU International Education Administrators (IEA) Award is a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program opportunity that offers higher education administrators from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) a fully funded, two-week intensive seminar in France and Senegal. The program is designed to provide participants with first-hand insight into the higher education systems of both countries, foster cross-cultural understanding, and facilitate future international collaboration. Activities include briefings, campus visits, networking sessions, cultural excursions, and meetings with local government officials and higher education professionals. The goal is to help participants build institutional capacity for international education and develop professional networks to support student and faculty internationalization efforts.
