Description
This opportunity provides federal funding for organizations to deliver Head Start and/or Early Head Start (EHS) services to eligible children and families in designated communities across eight states: Colorado, Delaware, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. The program aims to ensure high-quality, comprehensive early childhood education and family support, prioritizing the most vulnerable and underserved populations. Funding is available for both new and existing providers, including those wishing to serve pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and children up to compulsory school age.
Programs must be designed to meet the needs of their communities, support school readiness, and provide seamless transitions for children and families. Applicants may propose to serve one or more service areas but must submit a separate application for each.
