The Health System Impact (HSI) Fellowship offers doctoral trainees and postdoctoral fellows in health services and policy research, or related fields, the opportunity to undertake embedded, impact-oriented research projects within non-academic health system organizations (public, private, not-for-profit, Indigenous, etc.). Fellows spend the majority of their time working directly with partner organizations on real-world challenges, while also benefiting from professional development, co-mentorship from both academic and health system supervisors, and participation in a national cohort. The program aims to enhance research capacity within health systems, foster career readiness, and support evidence-informed decision-making.
