Description
The Heritage Professional Development Stipend program provides financial support to heritage practitioners in King County, Washington, enabling them to participate in conferences, workshops, training, or technical assistance that address a field-wide need within the heritage sector. The goal is to foster professional growth and skill-building for individuals and organizations contributing to public experiences with heritage in King County. Funding can be used for registration fees, necessary travel, and, if presenting, materials for presentations. The program places an emphasis on equity by prioritizing applicants from historically underfunded communities and regions outside of Seattle or within Communities of Opportunity.
