--- ## Description This funding opportunity, jointly offered by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), seeks applications for high-priority research projects in tobacco regulatory science. The goal is to generate new scientific data that will inform the FDA's regulation of tobacco products under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (FSPTCA). Responsive research must fall within the regulatory authority of the FDA CTP and address one or more of the following topics: Addiction, Behavior, Communications, Health Effects, Product Composition and Design, and/or Toxicity. Projects must comprehensively address all components within the selected topic subareas.
