Description
This program, administered by the National Park Service (NPS) through the Historic Preservation Fund, is designed to expand the representation of underrepresented communities in the National Register of Historic Places. Grants support projects that survey, document, and nominate historic sites associated with communities currently underrepresented in the Register. All projects must result in at least one new or amended National Register nomination or amendment. The program encourages projects that further the recognition, preservation, and celebration of the diverse stories and heritage that form the fabric of the United States.
