The Historical Archives Program of the Wenner-Gren Foundation is designed to encourage the preservation of unpublished personal research materials that are significant for research on the history of anthropology. Grants are provided to assist senior scholars (or their heirs) with the costs of preparing and transferring such materials to an appropriate archival repository. The initiative aims to ensure the long-term accessibility of valuable anthropological research materials for future scholarship.
