The Hitchcock Foundation Registered Nurse (RN) Grants are designed to foster the professional growth of registered nurses employed by Dartmouth Health. The program encourages RNs to undertake research or quality improvement projects aligned with their expertise, particularly those addressing one or more of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) quality domains: safety, effectiveness, person-centeredness, timeliness, equity, or efficiency. Each applicant must collaborate with a mentor from within Dartmouth Health who will guide the planning and execution of the project. Proposals from all departments and disciplines are welcome.
The grant aims to advance the study and investigation of human health, promote medical, surgical, and scientific learning, and improve patient outcomes within the Dartmouth Health system.
