Description
The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) seeks qualified organizations to deliver evidence-based home visiting services across Connecticut’s six Home Visiting regions. The program promotes healthy births, strengthens child development and positive parenting practices, and prevents child maltreatment. Providers will prioritize engagement during pregnancy and before children reach 12 months of age, using model curricula, developmental screening, and connections to community resources.
This five-year initiative supports a coordinated statewide system that responds to community needs, promotes school readiness, and reduces disparities in maternal and child health outcomes. OEC seeks providers with demonstrated service-delivery capacity, a skilled workforce, community partnerships, and processes that incorporate family voice. Continuous recruitment, centralized referral, data-informed improvement, and measurable outcomes are central expectations.
