This programme seeks to strengthen the capacity and resilience of local responders in relatively stable regions of conflict-affected Sudan. Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the initiative aims to address humanitarian response gaps by supporting community-driven, partnership-based models that prioritize local leadership and sustainable, adaptive approaches. The focus is on multi-sector humanitarian assistance (including health, WASH, protection, food/nutrition, and livelihoods), protection, and resilience-building, especially in areas where needs are high but some stability allows for longer-term planning. Only one accountable grant is expected to be awarded for this call, with the lead applicant responsible for managing any downstream partners.
